Niger forward Moussa Maazou: I am happy to play against Egypt

forward Moussa Maazou spoke about his side’s game against the Egyptian national team in the  on Saturday.

The Pharaohs will clash with Niger in the second round of the qualifiers as both teams aim to reach the upcoming 2019 AFCON which is set to take place in Cameroon. Niger and were drawn in the qualifiers Group J along with Tunisia and Swaziland.

“I am happy to play against the team that I was supporting a few months ago in the World Cup, and our team is happy about this clash,” Moussa Maazou told on Sport TV.

Egypt had suffered a 0-1 defeat in their group opening game against Tunisia in Rades last year and Niger drew 0-0 with Swaziland.

“I had the chance to play against Egypt six years ago and we performed well back then,” the RC Lens player added. “I trained well before this game.”

“No one is special, it is just 11 players against the same amount of players. We all have the same abilities and we’re playing one game which is football,” he concluded.
