Del Piero, Rivaldo and Ronaldo rave about Mohamed Salah
Brazil legends Ronaldo De Lima, Rivaldo and Italian star Alessandro Del Piero spoke highly of Egypt and Liverpool’s winger Mohamed Salah who is currently competing for FIFA’s The Best Men’s Player of the Year award alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric.
After an incredible debut season with Liverpool, Mohamed Salah grabbed the attention of football legends and stars from all over the world.
Now he is back in the spotlight competing with Ronaldo and Modric for the prestigious award which will be announced on 24 September 2018 in London, England.
On the El Partidazo sports radio program, two times Ballon d’Or winner Brazil legend Ronaldo De Lima said: “I love him. I heard statements saying that I was his inspiration, and this excited me. He has tremendous ability. He’s similar to Messi. He’s left-footed, agile, fast, keeps the ball close to his feet, has hunger for goals.”
“He’s a great player. He’s a game changer. He has to maintain it like Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi have for ten years – he’s very close to their level now,” said 1999 Ballon d’Or and 2002 FIFA World Cup winner Rivaldo.
Juventus star Alessandro Del Piero also said that he thinks Mohamed Salah is an extraordinary player. “He presents a steady and powerful performance with outstanding skills that qualify him to be the best player in the world within a few months,” the Italian legend.
