Maarouf Youssef signs new Zamalek contract until 2021
Zamalek chairman Mortada Mansour has announced the renewal of the contract of Nigerian-born team midfielder Maarouf Youssef.
The Burkinabe player was not included in Zamalek’s squad for the current season since the club decided to register Moroccan striker Hamid Ahaddad, Congolese forward Congolese Kabongo Kassongo, Tunisia international players Ferjani Sassi and Hamdi Nagguez as their four foreign players which means that they were not able to find a spot for Youssef.
“Maarouf Youssef renewed his contract for three years,” Mortada Mansour told Pyramids TV. “Youssef is an important player and a great addition to Zamalek.”
The 25-year-old however decided to renew his contract until 2021 with the White Knights before he moves to a new club on loan.
