Nasser Maher extends contract with Al Ahly until 2023
The Al Ahly academy graduate joined the Red Devils first team during the 2017/2018 season after he was loaned-out twice to Premier League sides Petrojet and Smouha.
The 21-year-old impressed during his time at Al Ahly especially under French manager Patrice Carteron.
Since rejoining the African giants he has played eight games across all competitions and has helped Al Ahly reach the CAF Champions League quarter-final after a shaky start in the completion.
However Maher is excluded from his team’s clash in the Champions League quarter-final against Guinean side Horoya AC on September 22 as he played a five-a-side game which is against Al Ahly’s rules and regulations.
