CAF name Rwandan referees for Egypt clash with Swaziland
The Pharaohs will host Swaziland on Friday, October 12 at El-Salam Stadium, before travelling to face them four days later at the Mavuso Sports Centre in Manzini.
The first-leg will be officiated by Rwandan referee Louis Hakizimana, and he will be assisted by compatriots Dieudonne Mutuyimana, Honore Simba, and Abdoul Karim Twagirumukiza.
Hakizimana has refereed games for the Egyptian teams only once, when he took charge of Smouha’s encounter against ZESCO United in the CAF Confederation Cup, which finished in a 1-1 draw.
Egypt are currently second in their group with three points, three behind leaders Tunisia, while Swaziland and Niger sit third and fourth respectively with only one point.
