Former captain Daniel Cousin named Gabon sole coach

Football Federation announced the appointment of former captain  as the new sole coach for the Panthers.

The federation earlier revealed that both Arsenal and  striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s father  and  have been named as the new Gabon managers.

However, Aubameyang junior has denied the news on his Instagram account, slamming the federation for announcing the appointment, hinting that he may not play for his country again.

Now, the former Hull City and Rangers FC will be leading Gabon replacing Spanish manager Jose Antonio Camacho, who only won two matches and departed following the expiry of his contract.

In addition to being a hardcore football fan, Abdelrahman is a communications enthusiast who works in marketing, advertising, content creation and PR.
