Official: Turki Al-Sheikh withdraws from investing in Pyramids FC
There hasn’t been much said yet about what really happened to make Turki withdraw from investing in Egypt. But the Pyramids FC owner had stated on his Facebook page on Monday that he is seriously considering to withdraw his investments from sports in Egypt, justifying it by saying that he would save himself the daily attack by everyone he is subject to.
Later in the day, Pyramids TV formalized the news that he is no longer investing in the club and that Pyramids will be under the authority of Hossam El-Badry, Ahmed Hassan and Hady Khashaba.
The club official channel added that the club players are set to be sold. They also announced that Al-Sheikh assured that he will be taking care of the club channel personnel and that their contracts will continue to be running.
Pyramids are the second in the league table, just two points behind Zamalek with a game in hand.
