Zamalek announce squad for Qadsia encounter


Zamalek head coach Christian Gross announced the club’s squad that will face Kuwaiti side in the second leg of the first round of the Arab Club Championship Cup.

The White Knights were held to a goalless draw in their opening match of the championship in Alexandria and are aiming to overcome Qadsia when they clash in Kuwait on Friday.

Mohamed Antar, Abdallah Gomaa and Ahmed Madbouly returned to Zamalek squad while Ayman Hefny and Mostafa Fathi were not included due to their injuries.

Zamalek full squad:

Goalkeepers: Mahmoud Gennesh, Emad El-Sayed, Omar Salah.

Defenders: Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdel-Ghany, Bahaa Magdy, Hamdy Nagguez, Mahmoud Hamdy ‘El-Wensh’, Ahmed Aboul-Fotouh.

Midfielders: Mahmoud Kahraba, Tarek Hamed, Ferjani Sassi, Hamid Ahadad, Ibrahim Hassan, Mohamed Ibrahim, Abdallah Gomaa, Mohamed Antar, Youssef Obama, Ahmed Madbouly, Mahmoud Dunga.

Strikers: Kabongo Kasongo, Omar El-Said.
