Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder insists that his side are not afraid of facing Zlatan and wants to focus more on the team as a whole.

Major League Soccer has been host to some of the biggest names in football since its inception, including the likes of David Beckham, Thierry Henry, Andrea Pirlo and Didier Drogba among others.

At this point in time, there is no bigger name playing not just in America but in non European football as a whole than of LA Galaxy.

Despite Ibrahimovic’s stature in the game and his unquestionable ability, Aly Ghazal does not want to put all of the focus into one player for the matchup between his Vancouver Whitecaps and LA Galaxy.

The Egyptian midfielder said “He’s one of eleven players. We’re not going to play against Zlatan alone, we’re playing against LA Galaxy.”

Regardless of Galaxy’s other players, Ghazal and co will have their work cut out to stop the Swedish legend as he has scored 18 goals in 23 games since moving to California.

Vancouver Whitecaps face LA Galaxy early on Sunday morning at 4am Egyptian time.
