LA Galaxy forward believes didn’t deserve to win the Puskas award his goal against Everton.

Mohamed Salah has claimed the award at the Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony and it has surprised many, especially with Gareth Bale’s overhead kick, Cristiano Ronaldo’s acrobatic strike, and Pavard’s World Cup volley being nominated for the award.

The Egyptian’s goal against Everton wasn’t even voted the Premier League goal of the month, which caused outrage, with many fans complaining about the decision.

Former Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave his opinion on the matter, saying he doesn’t know the candidates because he wasn’t nominated.

He was asked whether he thought Salah deserved to win the award, and he replied: ‘No.’

“I think Cristiano scored a nice goal. I didn’t see the candidates, because if my goal was not there, it was not interesting.

“But my goal should have been there, against LAFC, or you have my 500 goals, but let’s see. Maybe I’m there next year,” he jokingly added.

Ibrahimovic knows football, can’t say I disagree with his opinion. Salah, on the other hand, always lets his skills prove his critics wrong.
Yallah ya Salah we need another strong season from you
