VIDEO: Abdallah El-Said scores first goal for Al Ahli Jeddah

Egyptian International playmaker scored his first goal for Al Ahli Jeddah as they secured a 2-0 home victory against Al Batin in the fourth round of the Saudi Professional League.

El-Said started for the third successive time for Al Ahli in midfield behind striker Omar Al Soma, while club captain made the usual start on the left flank.

The hosts complete domination over the start of the game was quickly rewarded after 15 minutes as they took the lead through El-Said, who smashed a right footed strike near the edge of the penalty box into the bottom corner of the net.

The former Al Ahly midfielder came close once again in the 38th minute but his header was denied by Al Baten goalkeeper.

Eight minutes into the second half, Nouh El-Moussa doubled Al Ahli’s lead as his right-footed effort around the penalty area found the net despite Al Batin goalkeeper’s efforts.

Ten minutes away from the final whistle, Omar Al Soma thought he extended his side’s lead as he left-footed shot found the net, by his goal was ruled out for offside ater consultation from VAR.

The victory keeps Al Ahli in the third position with 10 points from four games, two away from the leaders Al Hilal.
