Mortada Mansour: No man in the world can stop me from attending matches

Mortada Mansour
president has full-on challenged the whole Arab world to stop him from attending matches at the stadium after his latest ban by & the Olympic Committee.

66-year-old Mansour has had his worst week yet as Zamalek president after back to back one-year bans by CAF and the from any football related activities.

Having met yesterday night with members of his board, Mortada had a press conference earlier today to announce some decisions taken, which includes banning Zamalek icon Hazem Emam from entering the club for life as well as canceling his club membership.

“There is not a single man in Egypt or the Arab world that can deny me from attending matches, I will attend all matches,” Mansour expressed.

The Olympic committee had also punished Zamalek by moving all their home games in various sports other than football to away fields, with Mortada challenging that decision as well.

“All matches in all various sports will not be moved away from Zamalek premises. I’d like to see which man can make that happen and I am sure that the Handball International Federation chairman Hassan Mostafa knows quite well who Mortada Mansour is,” he continued.

Regarding Hazem Emam, who is on the board of the Olympic committee, Mortada revealed there will be legal action taken against him.

“We will file a complaint to the General Prosecutor against Hazem Emam, who says he’s one of the sons of Zamalek. He supported the decisions of the Olympic committee and whoever supports a complaint against Zamalek does not belong inside the club.”

“Zamalek are a big club with a rich history dating back to 1911. 90% of the Arab would stand behind the club in addition to half of the Egyptian population but it appears some are not familiar with this,” Mortada concluded.
