played the full 90 minutes as Napoli defeated 1-0 in the second fixture of Group C in the Champions League.

Just 11 minutes into the game, Napoli came close to breaking the deadlock, but Lorenzo Insigne’s shot went just wide.

In the 50th minute, Arkadiusz Milik unleashed a powerful strike from outside the box, but his efforts was parried away by Alisson Becker.

Eight minutes before the final whistle, Mario Rui whipped a well-placed cross to Dries Mertens, whose shot cannoned off the crossbar.

In the dying moments of the game, Insigne secured the full three points for the home side, as he was left with a simple tap in, following Jose Callejon’s brilliant low cross.

Following the loss, the Reds occupy Group C’s third spot with three points ahead of their clash against Manchester City on the 7th of October.
