Pyramids FC reveal Keno’s future with the team

Egypt legend and FC director Ahmed Hassan has refuted rumors of Marcos da Silva ‘’s departure from the club amid interest from abroad.

Keno, 29, has been linked with clubs in Asia the past few weeks, particularly China and Saudi Arabia after his recent form with Pyramids, scoring four goals and providing a couple of assists in seven league games for the club.

Regarding the matter, Hassan told Onsport: “Keno is staying with the team. Everything is the same and we have no issues at all.”

“We remain on our path and everything’s the same. If anything else happens, that’s a different story. We remain supporting the team and motivating them,” Hassan concluded.

Pyramids FC have enjoyed a turbulent spell over the past two weeks ever since Al Ahly fans aimed insults at the club’s former honorary president and now Pyramids owner and Saudi Arabia Minister of Sport Turki Al Sheikh.

Following the incident, Al Sheikh decided to withdraw investments in Egypt, while promising that Pyramids’ star players’ future will be well taken care of and provided with suitable club contracts, and with Keno having a huge impact on the Egyptian Premier Leauge since his arrival, his name was always mentioned as the first player to depart the club, if a selling spree is to begin next January.

The player is rumored to be close to a 350 million Egyptian Pound move to China.

What a bunch of crybabies Ahly and their supporters are. Waah we want a league with no competition and no other wealthy team so we can win it every year. Anybody that poses a real treat on the pitch is a traitor and doesn’t love Egypt. If he loves Egypt then he should leave and let Ahly win the league.

Dude what? Literally every team in the world insults their rivals. It’s one of the main parts of football. It happens in England, Spain, France, everywhere. It’s always been that way. The problem is that Turki can’t take an insult. He just doesn’t understand football culture. If those insults make Ahly fans crybabies, the same applies for Real Madrid fans or Barca fans or Man U fans or any football fan. If you haven’t seen that before, you haven’t seen football before.
