Hossam Hassan says he is proud of his team, has many injuries
With this draw, Al Masry have now gone 10 games unbeaten in all competitions in the last two months under Hossam Hassan.
“I said before the game that we are playing with just 17 players and I have many injuries. But at the same time, I am happy with my team’s display,” Hossam Hassan told Bein Sports.
The 57-year-old also claimed that Al Masry’s tough schedule had a huge impact on their performance, saying: “There are teams who do not play in any African competition.
“They get their league games postponed whenever they like. As for Al Masry, we play every three days,” he added.
Al Masry will look to focus on league matters as they host Arab Contractors on Sunday. Kick-off is set to take place 16:00 GMT.
