El-Gouna’s Mahmoud Shabrawy suffers ACL rupture
Shabrawy was forced off during his side’s game against Ittihad of Alexandria, the encounter which resulted in El-Gouna’s 2-1 defeat against the Alexandria-based club.
El-Gouna confirmed on Wednesday that the player was diagnosed with an ACL rupture and will spend around six months on the sidelines between recovery from injury and rehabilitation.
The 21-year-old winger had joined El-Gouna in the preceding summer coming from Al Qanah. He featured for the newly promoted side in eight games scoring two goals.
