Sobhi still recovering from knee injury, ruled out of Burnley clash
Egypt international Ramadan Sobhi has been ruled out of Huddersfield’s clash with Burnley in the eighth round of the English Premier League.
The Terriers will travel to face Burnley on Saturday, hoping to pick up their first win of the season after their slow start, which saw them draw two games while losing five from their first seven games.
They announced they will be without each of Terence Kongolo, Tommy Smith, Abdelhamid Sabiri, Danny Williams, and Ramadan Sobhi due to injuries.
“Unfortunately we have some injury problems; Terence Kongolo will miss the game with a hamstring injury, he’ll be out for 4-5 weeks,” Huddersfield boss David Wagner said.
“Danny Williams and Ramadan Sobhi are still returning. Sabiri has a knock on his ankle and Tommy Smith has a groin problem,” he added.
The Egypt international suffered a knee injury last August and had hoped to be back by now, however, he is yet to recover and will miss the Burnley game.
Ramadan’s only official appearance for Huddersfield came in their 6-1 loss to Manchester City in August, and he is yet to start a game for them.
