Egypt national team begin preparations for Swaziland encounter
The Pharaohs will line up against Swaziland for the first game on October 12 in Cairo then head to Mbabane to play the fourth round match on the 16th of the same month.
Aguirre revealed his final squad for the meeting which included a list of 12 foreign-based players in addition to another 15 players from the Egyptian Premier League.
The Egyptian Football Association ‘EFA’ assured that this will be a closed training camp to ensure that players will remain focused before the match. Players will be staying at Le Meridien hotel and will commence their training sessions at Aerosport Club.
The national team will have their main training session before the match at El Salam stadium on Thursday, one day before the match. Afterward, they will return to the closed camp until the team travels to Swaziland on Sunday morning.
Foreign-based players are set to arrive in Cairo on Sunday and Monday to join the rest of the squad.
Mexican coach Aguirre is expected to hold a pre-match press conference on Thursday at El Salam stadium to speak about the recent preparations for the clash.
