Manchester City defender has claimed he would rather play directly against than ahead of Liverpool vs Manchester City.

The England right back has spoken about the two primary goal threats that will be involved in Liverpool vs Manchester City this afternoon, Salah and Aguero, who were two of the top three scorers in the Premier League last season.

Walker said “I’d rather mark Salah every day of the week. Having played against Aguero when I was at Tottenham, I can assure you he’s a complete nightmare to play against.”

He continued, “You think he’s not interested in the game and all of a sudden it’s in the back of the net. He has that quality. He’s done it year in and year out. He is always up there scoring the most goals in the Premier League.”

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola added onto Walker’s comments comparing the two, implying that Aguero’s longevity gives him the edge over Salah while still praising the Egyptian.
