Mohamed Salah shortlisted in 30-man roster for the Ballon d’Or
The 30-man list, which includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and FIFA’s ‘The Best Men’s Player’ Luka Modric was announced by France Football on Monday.
Salah’s nomination was no surprise after his incredible debut season with Liverpool last term, as he scored 44 goals in all competitions, 32 of which were scored in the Premier League, making him the leagues top scorer.
The 26-year-old was previously nominated among the final three for the ‘UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Award’ and ‘The Best FIFA Men’s Player’, but lost both trophies to Modric.
The trophy winner will be announced on the 3rd of December. Ronaldo is the current defending champion, having won his fifth Ballon d’Or in 2017.
