Al Ahly sign Denmark-born Egyptian Fady Ibrahim
Al Ahly youth team announced the signing of Denmark-born Egyptian playmaker Fady Ibrahim who joined the club coming from Danish side HB Koge.
Fady Ibrahim was born in Denmark to an Egyptian father and used to play in the Danish second division for HB Koge two seasons ago but decided to return to Egypt and chose to play for Al Ahly.
Al Ahly youth team manager Medhat Taha Ismail said that Ibrahim is an exceptional player especially because of his height, pointing out that he was training with the team in the past period and proved that he is worthy of joining the club.
Ibrahim is the second Denmark-born Egyptian to emerge in the Egyptian football scene after midfielder Alexander Jakobsen, who represented Egypt U-20 team that won the African championship in 2013 and later played with the Egyptian national team.
