Aly Ghazal: I feel comfortable in my position with Egypt
Ghazal has been putting on great displays with the national team ever since he returned last month in victory against Niger and will be hoping to carry this great form into the next match which will kick off on Tuesday.
“eSwatini won’t be an easy opponent especially that they are playing on their own ground. The match will be much harder than the one we had a few days ago [in Egypt],” Ghazal stated on ON Sport TV.
“I feel very comfortable in my position because this is where I have been playing ever since I left Egypt, Aguirre chose me to play in this specific position. All players give their all with the national team and try to improve the mistakes in each match.” continued the Egyptian defensive midfielder on his position.
“I play in the Canadian team Vancouver Whitecaps but we play in MLS which is the American league. The league is improving each year at a quick rate, I arrived in Canada in the middle of last season and this is my first full season with my team. I had offers when I left China from Portugal and Turkey, but when I saw the atmosphere and the facilities at Whitecaps I couldn’t turn down the chance to play there.”
“The spirit is always very good at our stadium and the fans are always present to support us. The stadium is very attractive, and there is always entertainment on our ground like fireworks.”
“We worked on our recovery very well between the matches to be in the best physical shape. We are a big group, not just 11 players, so the head coach has the option to make changes in the starting lineup,” he concluded.
