Egypt midfielder has highlighted on the difference between the Pharaohs’ former coach Hector Cuper and current boss Javier Aguirre and both games against .

Morsy was included in Egypt’s called up squad on the two occasions since Aguirre took over as Cuper’s successor in August but is yet to feature for the team under the Mexican manager.

“Our performance against eSwatini was very good, we were able to score many goals and it was a big victory with our new head coach,” Morsy told ON Sport TV.

When asked about his expectations for the next match, “there are no easy games and we always give our all to try and win all our games.” said the Egyptian midfielder.

“My father’s family are all Egyptians and they all support me throughout my time here.” continued Morsy.

“There are many players competing for the midfield spot in the national team, they are all great players and the competition is healthy because it pushes us to our maximum.”

“Next match is very important and if we win we will be in a very good spot, but obviously it won’t be easy. We will try to finish in the first spot but there are still a lot of games to play,” said Wigan midfielder when asked about the chances of finishing in the first spot.

“The difference is huge between Hector Cuper and Javier Aguirre, they are both experienced managers and we needed the change. The national team is a family and there are good spirits created by the coaching staff.”
