When asked by TV channel BT Sport after the match if he was aware that his goal against Huddersfield was his 50th in the Premier League, Salah said: “It’s a good feeling, but as I said last season, the most important thing is to help the team collect the needed points.
“We are on the right track and we’re happy with today’s result.”
As for going for games without scoring the winger assured that he is not worried since he is always thinking about the team first.
Salah also spoke about players who were injured after the international break saying: “We had four or five players playing in the Premier League for the first time this season but we’re all on the same level and we all have to fight hard.”
Liverpool’s next game will be against Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League.
