Primeiro de Agosto to file a complaint against Esperance game referee

Angolan club announced that they will file a complaint against the game referee.

Primeiro de Agosto were were disqualified from the after losing 4-2 in semi-final the second leg against Tunisian giants Esperance and 4-3 on aggregate.

However Primeiro de Agosto filed a complaint to the African Football Federation against the refereeing refereeing team led by Zambian Janny Sikazwe.

“The way the referee handled the game is shameless. The CAF and FIFA should put things back to order,” said the Primeiro de Agosto president.

Primeiro de Agosto criticized the referee for committing many mistakes that were in favor of Esperance. They also commented on his unprofessionalism in handling the game especially after the Esperance supporters got violent.

Esperance managed to secure their qualification to the final match after winning 4-3 on aggregate on Tuesday, they will face African giants Al Ahly in the final.
