Naby Keita impressed by Mohamed Salah’s efforts
After an impressive debut season for Mohamed Salah with Liverpool, in which he scored 44 goals and provided 16 assists in 52 games, the Egyptian had a more of a slow start this season.
However, Salah is proving that he is a top-notch player working hard to help his team in the English Premier League and UEFA Champions League. The winger managed to score seven goals so far after 14 games in all competitions, in addition to producing four assists.
“He trains very, very hard. Every time I go to the gym, he is there,” Naby Keita told Premier League Productions. “What is happening at the moment is not just luck, it’s all earned. It’s because he has been training so hard.”
Keita, who was recently sidelined with a hamstring injury, assured that he is happy to be trained by German coach Jurgen Klopp and to play with Liverpool as this is his first season at Anfield.
“I’m learning from their experience. I’m training with them and trying to get better,” he added.
