Ahmed Hegazi set to return for West Brom against Hull City
Ahmed Hegazi will return to the West Brom squad for Saturday’s Championship clash with Hull City, club boss Darren Moore has confirmed.
The Egypt international has missed his side’s last two games against Derby County and Blackburn Rovers due to an injury, but he is set for a return against Hull City on Saturday.
Prior to the setback, Hegazi made 15 appearances across all competitions for the Baggies, providing one assist as his side currently sit fifth in the Championship.
“We’ve had some good news on Kieran Gibbs and Ahmed [Hegazi]. Dwight [Gayle] we will see, he’s 50/50, and Gareth Barry we will see,” Moore said.
“We’ve got a training session today. We’ll put both players in there and see how they get on. We’ll give them every opportunity to make the game because they’re both eager to play.
“You have to let common sense prevail. As much as you’re tempted, if it is at a risk then I won’t take that risk.
“But Gibbs is looking good and Ahmed is looking good,” he added.
