Al Ahly captain  has insisted that his side have not won the title yet despite their 3-1 victory in the first-leg.

Eight-time winners Al Ahly beat Espérance 3-1 at Borg El-Arab, thanks to a brace from Walid Soliman and Amr El-Sulya’s strike.

The return-leg will take part on Friday, November 9 at Stade Olympique de Radès, with Al Ahly needing at least a draw or a 1-0 loss to clinch the title.

Al Ahly skipper Hossam Ashour, who has won the title five times before, spoke to beIN SPORTS after the game, saying: “So far we have not won the title despite winning by three goals.

“We have a week to prepare for the return-leg and we will concentrate very well on this game.

“We didn’t want to concede goals but we were playing against a big team like Esperance. The game in Rades will not be easy, we have not won the title yet,” he added.
