Egypt men volleyball team crowned Arab Champions
Egypt won the 2018 Men’s Arab Volleyball Championship after winning all their games and defeating Bahrain 1-3 in the final.
Egypt won the championship that was hosted in Cairo after claiming three sets when they met Bahrain 25/23, 19/25, 25/23, 25/15. Bahrain also managed to win all of their five games before meeting Egypt.
Oman came in third place after defeating Iraq 1-3 while Algeria came in fourth following their 0-3 victory over Palestine.
The final was attended by Khalid Nassif Salim, President of the Egyptian Federation for Volleyball, Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Arab and Bahrain Volleyball Federation, Jamal Belkacem Zerrouq, Vice President of the Arab Federation and Chairman of the Libyan Olympic Committee.
Seven national teams took part in the one-round league system championship.
