Ferjani Sassi, Hamdy Nagguez called for Tunisia’s clash against Egypt

Zamalek pair and have been called up for the squad that will gather next week to prepare for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against in Alexandria.

Egypt and Tunisia have both sealed qualification for the anticipated African competition in Cameroon after collecting nine and 12 points respectively, going through ahead of eSwatini and Niger.

The Pharaohs and Carthage Eagles had faced each other in the qualifiers’ group opener in Rades in June 2017, where the hosts came out victorious with a 1-0 win.

Tunisia list saw the return of Zamalek midfielder Ferjani Sassi who had missed out on the national team games since their 2018 World Cup campaign in Russia.

Hamdy Nagguez was also included in the squad for the game, while Al Ahly left back was naturally overlooked due to his injury.

Strikers: Fakhreddine Ben Youssef, Firas Chaouat.
