Al Ain winger Hussein El-Shahat linked with move to Al Ahly
Al Ahly and unnamed Saudi Arabian sides will reportedly go head-to-head in January for the signature of Egypt international Hussein El-Shahat.
El-Shahat has been linked with Al Ahly for some time now, and came close to signing for the Cairo giants several times before.
According to Emirati newspaper Al-Ittihad, El-Shahat could be about to join Al Ahly next January, as Al Ain are currently considering offers for the Egyptian.
The newspaper added that a couple of Saudi clubs are also tracking the forward, but they didn’t name them.
El-Shahat has previously admitted his desire to join Al Ahly, revealing that playing for the Red Devils will always remain his dream.
The 27-year-old has been with Al Ain since January 2018, joining them from Misr El-Makkasa. He made 25 appearances for them across all competitions, scoring 11 goals while providing 17 assists.
