Al Masry to play in Cairo for first time since Port Said Stadium massacre
Egyptian Football Association () have announced that Port Said-based Al Masry will play in Cairo for the first time in seven years.

Al Masry haven’t played an official game in Cairo since the Port Said stadium massacre, where over 70 Al Ahly fans were killed.

Around Seven years later, EFA have announced that Wadi Degla will host Al Masry at Petrosport on Sunday in the 14th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

The decision comes within the steps taken by the EFA to make Al Masry return to play in Port Said, after they filed a lawsuit to play once again on their stadium.

Al Masry are currently struggling in the league, winning just two games from their opening eight as they sit in the relegation zone, however, they have five games in hand.

They have just changed their manager after Hossam Hassan departed the club to join Pyramids FC, with former Smouha manager Mimi Abdel-Razek taking charge of the team.

On the other hand, Wadi Degla are currently 10th with 14 points from 13 games following an impressive 3-1 away victory over Ismaily on Wednesday.
