VIDEO: Mohamed Salah wins Liverpool Goal of the Month award for October

’s match-winning strike against  has been voted by the fans as Liverpool’s Goal of the Month for October.

Salah netted four goals and provided two assists in five games in October, helping his side top their UEFA Champions League group as well as remain unbeaten in the Premier League.

He scored a brace against Red Star Belgrade and once against each of Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City, with his winner against at John Smith’s Stadium clinching the award.

The Egypt international received a brilliant through ball from Xherdan Shaqiri, before finding the bottom corner to earn his side tough three points at Huddersfield.

Salah saw off competitions from Sadio Mane and Xherdan Shaqiri to clinch the award for the second time this season, after scooping the August award.

Salah’s strike against Red Star Belgrade also came in third place, with Shaqiri’s goal against Cardiff City being voted as the second best one.

Sadio Mane also had two goals on the shortlist as his brace against Cardiff City occupied the fourth and fifth places respectively.

Mohamed Salah is yet to score or win a game in November, but could change that when the Reds host struggling Fulham at Anfield on Sunday.
