Esperance’s Mohamed Ali Yacoubi: Our team was responsible

defender Mohamed Ali Yacoubi spoke after his team snatched the 2018 trophy after beating Al Ahly 3-0 to win their third-ever title.

The Tunisian side claimed the title after overcoming a 3-1 away loss at the hands of Africa’s most successful club Al Ahly to win 4-3 on aggregate.

“We’re thankful that we won the title and made our fans happy,” Mohamed Ali Yacoubi told beIN Sports TV channel. “Our team was responsible and we were in a good shape during the final match.”

“We’d also like to thank our former coach Khaled ben Yehia, he helped the team a lot,” added the 28-year-old Tunisian international.
