Obama nets a brace as Zamalek down Entag 2-1 in the Egyptian Premier League

Youssef ‘Obama’s brace secured the full three points for Zamalek as they defeated Entag El-Harby 2-1 in the 14th fixture of the Egyptian Premier League.

The game started with a bang as Youssef ‘Obama’ opened the scoring for the Whites in the 16th minute, when he converted Ibrahim Hassan’s clever through pass into the back of Amer Amer’s net.

At half-hour mark, Entag El-Harby were awarded a penalty kick after Karim Lala was brought down by Abdallah Gomaa inside the box. Former Al Ahly player Ahmed Shedid missed from the spot, after Mahmoud ‘Genesh’ put on a brilliant save to deny Entag the Equaliser.

Obama was once again at the heart of attack for the White Knights, when he completed his brace in the 82nd minute. Mohamed Ibrahim squared the ball to Obama who finished it past Amer, making it 2-0 for Zamalek.

In the dying moments of the game, Entag were awarded another penalty kick after a handball on Omar El-Said, that was calmly converted from the spot by Mohamed Ragab to reduce the deficit to one goal.

Following the win, Zamalek top the league table with 26 points and are set to face Dakhleya. Meanwhile, Entag occupy the fifth league spot with 19 points ahead of their encounter against Ismaily.
