Struggling Saudi club have reportedly entered negotiations to sign Zamalek and Tunisia right back as part of a team reinforcement campaign planned in January.

Nagguez joined Zamalek in January 2018 in a deal that is worth $700,000 after putting pen to paper on a contract that should keep him at the White Castle until the summer of 2021.

The 26-year-old right back have participated in 19 games since joining Zamalek, where he registered four assists.

Ittihad had a woeful start to their league season after 6 rounds as they sit in the bottom of the table with two points, not having won any of their first six games.

According to Tunisian radio Mosaique FM, Ittihad Jeddah have presented a considerable bid to sign Nagguez from Zamalek, though the exact figure offered by the Saudi giants was undisclosed.

However, the Tunisian outlet claimed that Nagguez’s transfer to the Saudi Professional League is a real possibility pending Zamalek’s consent.

The former Etoile du Sahel defender has been called up for Tunisia’s upcoming clash in the 2019 AFCON qualifiers against Egypt, with both sides have already secured qualification to the tournament which will take place in Cameroon.
