Tunisia coach: We played well against Egypt, will complain against Aguirre

interim coach has explained that defensive mistakes costed his side the result against , confirming that they will complain against the Pharaohs manager over ‘inappropriate gesture’.

Egypt avenged for their defeat in the ’ group opener in Rades and downed Tunisia 3-2 at Borg Al Arab stadium with Mohamed Salah’s late goal sealing the triumph.

The two North African sides now share the group leadership with 12 points from five games for each.

“The result was in Egypt’s favour but we had a good performance. It was a good game between the two teams and both have indeed qualified for AFCON,” Okbi said.

“From the defensive perspective we were poor and this led to our defeat.”

“We will file a complaint against Aguirre because of the sign he did and appeared on TV which is an inappropriate gesture.”
