national team qualified to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon following Rwanda’s draw with the Central African Republic.

Though Guinea are yet to meet second-placed Ivory Coast, Rwanda and the Central African Republic 2-2 draw secured a qualification ticket for the Syli Nationale who are on top of the group with ten points.

Rwanda are currently at the bottom of Group H with two points while the Central African Republic are in third place with five points, hoping for Guinea to beat Ivory Coast when they clash on Sunday.

However, if the Elephants managed to beat Guinea they will be able to snatch the second qualification ticket and will not have to wait for the last round to know their destiny.

In the final round, Ivory Coast will face Rwanda and the Central African Republic will face the Syli Nationale on March 22 next year.

Eight other national teams qualified for the 2019 AFCON held in Cameroon including Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, Madagascar, Mali, Uganda and Nigeria.
