Amr Warda linked with return to Al Ahly – Report
Egypt international Amr Warda has been linked with a return to Egyptian giants Al Ahly in the upcoming transfer window according to Greek reports.
Warda left Al Ahly in 2015 to join Greek side Panetolikos, where he scored nine goals and provided three assists in his first year and a half, which caught the attention of PAOK who bought him in 2017.
He was then sent on loan to Atromitos Athens where he scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in 28 games across all competitions.
However, after coming back from his loan spell, the 25-year-old failed to cement his position in the starting line-up.
The 25-year-old featured only 15 times this season, including only two starts, and scored once in the UEFA Champions League qualification round against Benfica.
Warda has also had several issues with Romanian manager Razvan Lucescu which linked the Egypt international with a return to Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
According to Greek newspaper Gazzetta, he could be leaving PAOK in January either permanently or on loan.
Warda is a product of Al Ahly youth sector but made only two appearances for them during the 2013/2014 season, in which he lifted the league title with the Reds.
