The Egyptian national team have continued their surge in the World Rankings as they went up further two places in the latest FIFA Men's Rankings for the month of November.

Egypt had a firing start under new manager Javier Aguirre. His first game in charge ended with a 6-0 win against Niger in September, followed by two successive victories against Swaziland and lastly a 3-2 win against Tunisia in Alexandria earlier in November.

The Pharaohs have moved from 64th place to 58th in October, and moved forward for two more places to occupy the 56th place in the rankings of November.

Aguirre's men have now become the eighth in the African nations ranking behind Senegal, Tunisia, , Nigeria, DR Congo, Ghana and Cameroon.
