I’m on the same level as Kane, Aguero and Salah, says Aubameyang
Aubameyang scored in Arsenal’s 4-2 win against Tottenham in the North London Derby on Sunday in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old is the first player to reach 10 goals in the Premier League this season and scored a total of 22 goals in 32 games across all competitions since joining the Gunners.
“Wow, not bad, eh?” he said of his record since moving to north London almost a year ago, having scored 22 in 32 in all competitions. “And I think I’m not at 100 per cent.
“I’m really happy because my best form is coming. Yesterday I felt very good on the pitch.
“I hope I’m at the same level [as Kane, Aguero and Salah] and I think so, yes.
“It’s early in the season. We have good strikers in the Premier League, so it will be tough [to finish as top scorer].
“But I’m happy we won yesterday. The most important thing is the team.”
Arsenal are currently unbeaten in 19 games in all competitions and are currently fourth with 30 points just one behind third-placed Chelsea. They will face seventh-placed Manchester United in their next game on Wednesday December 5.
