Pyramids FC’s Carlos Eduardo close to joining Palmeiras
In an immense summer for Pyramids FC, one of the prominent features was the influx of Brazilians joining the club. Ribamar, Keno, Arthur and Rodriguinho all joined Carlos Eduardo in becoming the first big names at the club following Turki El Sheikh’s rebrand.
While things looked extremely promising back in summer, it has already began to fall apart somewhat just 6 months into the project. Ribamar and Arthur have already left for Ohod and Al Shabab of the Saudi League respectively, and now it appears that Carlos Eduardo will be following them out of the exit door.
After winning the 2018 Brasileirao Serie A, Palmeiras are looking to strengthen the squad further by adding the Pyramids man. According to the Brazilian media, the transfer would cost Palmeiras somewhere in the region of US$6 million, which is around 107 million Egyptian Pounds.
In the meantime, Pyramids’ next game is at home against Haras Al Hodood on Monday at 7:30PM Egyptian time.
