Mohamed Salah picks favourite goal against Bournemouth
Liverpool thrashed Bournemouth 4-0 away from home as they extended their winning run in the league to five games.
Salah managed to score a hat-trick, becoming the first Liverpool player to score an away hat-trick in the Premier League since Luis Suarez against Cardiff in March 2014.
The Egyptian was named as Man of the Match, but refused to accept the award and instead handed it to James Milner in honour of his 500th Premier League appearance.
“It’s a fantastic win today, and it’s great to get to the top of the table,” Salah told Sky Sports after the game.
“I think I enjoyed the last [goal] the most, I was calm. My expectations are very high, but the most important thing is that we win each game and are top of the table,” he added.
Following his hattrick, Salah moved top of the Premier League scoring charts with ten goals, level with Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who will play against Huddersfield later on Saturday.
Liverpool’s next encounter will be a must-win game against Napoli in UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, December 11.
