Serie A side show interest in Egypt’s Ramadan Sobhi – Report
According to Italian sports newspaper the Corriere dello Sport, there are currently English news circulating about Egypt and Huddersfield Town winger Ramadan Sobhi indicating interest from an Italian club to sign the young player.
The report revealed that Italian side Lazio are currently interested in acquiring the services of Ramadan Sobhi, who has been struggling for game time with the Terriers.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a return to Al Ahly after club president Mahmoud El-Khatib promised fans several new signings in January after losing the CAF Champions League final and getting knocked out from Zayed Club Champions Cup.
His agent already said that Huddersfield coach [David Wagner] is not willing to sell or loan him this season and that Al Ahly is the player’s first choice in case the English club decided to loan him.
Sobhi recently made his 50th appearance in English football when he took part in his side’s loss against Newcastle. The Terriers are currently struggling in the league’s relegation zone with only 10 points after 17 games.
