Mahmoud Trezeguet on German side VfB Stuttgart’s radar – Report
Similar news emerged again this time from German magazine Sport which referred to claims by Football365 Afrique which suggested that Trezeguet is currently on Stuttgart’s wish-list.
The Egypt international has been at Kasimpasa since July 2017, joining the club on loan from Anderlecht, before they made the move permanent last summer. He was among the Kasimpasa squad that the club announced to have agreed to remain for the coming two years and a half.
This season, the former Al Ahly player took part in 16 games with Kasimpasa scoring five goals and producing five assists. He was remarkable last season when he moved to Kasimpasa and grabbed attention in and outside Turkey after 33 games, 16 goals and eight assists.
KingFut revealed before that Trezeguet was so close to joining Qatari side Al Rayyan, however, the negotiations fell through. However, Al Rayyan Turkish manager Bülent Uygun hinted his interest in the player.
It is worth noting that Kasimpasa sporting director Nursal Bilgin confirmed that the Egyptian star might leave the Turkish club if they receive a proper offer for his services.
Trezeguet could be a valuable addition to Stuttgart as the team is struggling in the relegation zone in the Bundesliga with only four victories that earned them 14 points. However, it is likely that the German side will have to compete with a number of other clubs to acquire the services of the 24-year-old winger.
