West Bromwich Albion defender craig dawson spoke about his fruitful experience playing side by side with Egypt's Ahmed Hegazi.
Ahmed Hegazi has been one of the Baggies' stand out performers this season, helping them sit third on the championship table, only six points behind leaders Leeds United.
This season, the former Al ahly defender made 22 appearances in both the Championship and the efl cup. He scored one goal and produced one assist.
His teammate Craig Dawson was close to leaving the team last summer but the club refused to sell him and as he approaches his 200th game with the Baggies, he formed a remarkable partnership with Hegazi.
“Ahmed and I have complemented each other's games from the moment we came together and at the end of last season we showed what we can do.
“He's a very experienced and reliable lad to have alongside – hopefully he thinks the same about playing next to me,” Dawson told the press.
West Brom are getting ready for their next game in the Championship away from home against Rotherham on Saturday, 22 December.
