Egypt international Mahmoud Trezeguet linked with Serie A move
Trezeguet has been at Kasimpasa since July 2017, joining the club on loan from Anderlecht, before they made the move permanent last summer.
He was among the Kasimpasa squad that the club announced to have agreed to remain for the coming two years and a half.
However, according to reports, the player wants to get out of the club next January and has attracted the interest of a number of clubs, including German side VfB Stuttgart, Al Rayyan of Qatar, and most recently Lazio.
According to Calciomercato, Lazio are willing to pay €6 million for Trezeguet’s services, but they revealed that the Turkish club want at least €10 million to let him go.
Trezeguet is not the first Egyptian to be linked with a move to Rome-based club, as the same website reported that the club also want to sign Huddersfield winger Ramadan Sobhi.
Lazio are currently fifth in the Serie A with 25 points, 21 behind leaders Juventus and only two behind fourth-placed AC Milan.
Trezeguet has scored five goals and provided five assists in 16 games with Kasimpasa this season, and the club’s sporting director admitted that Mahmoud could leave the club for the right price.
Kasimpasa are currently sixth in the Turkish Super League and their next game will be against Menemen Belediyespor in the cup on Wednesday.
