Montpellier beat Nimes in an all Egyptian handball clash

Egypt’s stars and were set against each other as beat 33-27 in the derby of the South.

Sanad produced a stunning performance scoring 11 goals in the derby against Montpellier, but his side Nimes were unable to win.

The 27-year-old is now the league’s third top scorer with 81 goals, just nine goals behind top scorer Raphaël Caucheteux.

Hashem’s Montpellier were able to quickly recover from a recent 24-32 loss against league leaders Paris Saint Germain.

Meanwhile, this is Nimes’ second consecutive league loss. They now sit fifth in the league with just 19 points in 13 games.
