ENPPI complete double swoop from El-Makkasa, Dakhleya


Egyptian Premier League outfit ENPPI have sealed of two new players in striker and defender from and respectively.

Bassam has made shy appearances for Misr El-Makkasa this season where he only played in seven league matches. He hasn’t scored any goal and registered a single assist for the Fayoum-based side.

ENPPI announced on Monday they have collected the 25-year-old striker’s transfer clearance from El-Makkasa for him to officially join the club.

Bassam, accompanied by ENPPI director of football Abdelnasser Mohamed, has put pen to paper on a five-year contract.

Moreover, the Petroleum club have also announced the signing of Ahmed Saber from Dakhleya. The 25-year-old defender joined Dakhleya from Misr El-Makkasa in summer 2017.

Saber featured in 14 games for Dakhleya in the Egyptian Premier League this season.

“ENPPI got the transfer clearance of Dakhleya defender Ahmed Saber on a contract that lasts for five years. The player preferred to join ENPPI in the January transfer window over several clubs,” ENPPI stated.
