Zamalek squad for Ittihad Tanger encounter announced

Zamalek coach Christian Gross has announced his team’s squad for the first leg game against Algeria’s in the round of 32 for the .

Zamalek were drawn against Moroccan champions Ittihad Tanger in the playoff round of the Confederations Cup after thrashing AS CotonTchad 7-2 on aggregate, while Ittihad Tanger were knocked out of the first round of the CAF Champions League by JS Saoura of Algeria.

The squad saw the return of the Whites captain Hazem Emam after reaching full recovery from injury. Meanwhile, new signing Khalid Boutaib was not registered in this round of the African competition therefore he cannot feature.
